Enterprise software is built on trust in records that were never designed to be tamper-evident. A purchase order, an invoice, a tax total, a supplier price - these move across ERP, accounting and procurement systems in formats that are easy to edit, hard to detect and expensive to litigate. The result is the hidden cost of modern business: reconciliation disputes, duplicate invoices, manipulated line items and delayed audits that drain revenue and patience.
edeXa Marketplace changes the equation. It gives companies and institutions a growing catalog of apps that turn ordinary business documents into blockchain-anchored proofs, without replacing the systems they already run. Each app is designed to plug into the workflows teams use today - supply chains, finance, procurement, compliance - and to publish a cryptographic fingerprint on the edeXa public chain that no insider, supplier or attacker can quietly rewrite.
The launch addresses four pain points we hear every week. First, database manipulation: an unauthorized change to a stored record is no longer invisible because the app keeps a signed, timestamped hash that can be verified against the chain. Second, invoice fraud: duplicate or modified invoices are caught at the point of verification because the app checks the document against the proof already anchored. Third, order and pricing tampering: unit prices, totals and tax lines are hashed together with the order, so any later edit breaks the match. Fourth, summary-item drift in internal supply chains: every consolidated line can be traced back to its original source transaction, closing the gap between what the system says and what really happened.
For the technical reader, the architecture is simple but strong. Each app wraps an edeXa Connector that listens to an existing system, signs the event, and anchors a hash to edeXa. The chain stores the proof; the enterprise keeps the data. Verification is just a hash comparison against the public ledger, and it can be run by anyone with the original document - no special API key required. This keeps the design GDPR- and MiCA-friendly: personal data stays where it belongs, while the proof travels anywhere trust is needed.
