Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which edeXa AG ("edeXa", "we", "us") issues refunds for paid services, subscriptions, connectors and dApps made available through the edeXa Business Blockchain, the edeXa marketplace and related platforms (together, the "Services").
By purchasing or subscribing to any of the Services you accept the terms of this policy together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to purchases of edeXa-operated Services billed directly by edeXa AG, including connector subscriptions, dApp licenses, API usage plans and professional services. Purchases made from third-party publishers on the edeXa marketplace are governed by the refund terms of the respective publisher; edeXa acts only as the technical platform in those cases.
2. Subscriptions and recurring plans
- Monthly and annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period remains active until its end date.
- Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable, unless required by applicable mandatory law or expressly agreed in writing.
- Annual plans may be refunded on a pro-rata basis within the first 14 days after the initial purchase, minus any usage already consumed and non-recoverable third-party costs.
3. One-time purchases and dApp licenses
- One-time purchases of digital products, dApps or license keys are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase provided the license has not been activated and the product has not been materially used.
- Once a license has been activated, on-chain records have been written, or credits have been consumed, the purchase is considered rendered and is non-refundable.
4. Blockchain transactions and network fees
Fees paid on-chain (gas, anchoring fees, network fees) and any consumed compute, storage or bandwidth are technically irreversible and therefore non-refundable. This includes transactions initiated in error by the user.
5. Professional services and custom development
Bespoke integration, consulting and development work is billed against a signed statement of work. Refunds for such engagements are governed by that statement of work; in its absence, work already delivered and time already spent are non-refundable.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us with your order reference, the email used at purchase and a short description of the reason:

We typically respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on the payment provider.
7. Chargebacks
We ask customers to contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved directly and faster than through the card network dispute process.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the version in force. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
