May Progress Update: Legacy Connector Traction, New Tech Whitepaper, and CONF3RENCE 2026
A snapshot of where edeXa stands in May 2026: strong early feedback on the Legacy Connector launch, the release of our new technical whitepaper (v2026.1), upcoming presence at CONF3RENCE in Dortmund, and a look at what is coming next across the ecosystem.

Investor & Community Newsletter - May 2026
May has been a month of momentum. The work shipped in Q1 is now translating into real adoption signals, deeper technical clarity, and new stages on which to share the edeXa vision. Here is a structured update on where we are and what is coming next.
1. Mainnet Upgraded to v2 Infrastructure - Two Paths, One Chain
We have successfully upgraded the edeXa Mainnet to the v2 Infrastructure. With this milestone, edeXa is now officially a hybrid Layer 1 that natively supports two distinct builder experiences on the same chain:
- For developers - EVM, with gas. The standard Web3 path. Deploy Solidity contracts, pay gas in EDX, and ship exactly the way every EVM developer already knows.
- For enterprises - Gasless, via the edeXa Relay. Onboard users with zero crypto and zero gas. An enterprise-grade relayer handles settlement in the background through the EDX Connector, delivering a frictionless UX with no wallet pop-ups.
Same chain. Same security. Two completely different experiences depending on who is building. This unlocks Web3-native teams and traditional enterprises in parallel - without forcing either side to compromise.
2. Legacy Connector - Strong Early Feedback
Since going live, the Legacy Connector has been received exceptionally well by enterprise pilots and integration partners. The zero-disruption approach is resonating with teams that previously considered blockchain integration too invasive to justify.
- Multiple enterprise pilots actively running against production endpoints
- Average integration time measured in days, not months
- Positive feedback on stability, predictability, and operational simplicity
- Growing interest from system integrators and middleware vendors
This validates a core thesis: enterprises do not want to replace what works - they want to extend it with verifiable trust. The Legacy Connector is becoming the most requested entry point into the edeXa stack.
3. New Technical Whitepaper - Version 2026.1
We have released the updated edeXa Technical Whitepaper (v2026.1), covering the full hybrid Layer 1 architecture, HybridX execution layer, BaaS Intelligence Engine, anchor settlement model, and the formal runtime topology used for enterprise deployments.
The new edition introduces:
- Formal deployment model and BFT tolerance bounds
- Amortized anchor cost analysis
- Pseudocode for the sidechain deployment lifecycle
- Updated tokenomics and validator economics
- Security invariants for verifiable state anchoring
The whitepaper is available directly in the portal - no PDF download required - and is structured for both technical reviewers and enterprise decision makers.
4. CONF3RENCE 2026 - edeXa on Stage in Dortmund
We are pleased to confirm that edeXa will participate in CONF3RENCE 2026, taking place on 15-16 September 2026 in Dortmund, Germany. The event brings together Fortune 500 leaders and the leading minds in Web3, blockchain, AI and emerging tech under the banner of "Deep Tech & Beyond".
This is a strategic stage for us to:
- Present the hybrid Layer 1 architecture to an enterprise-grade audience
- Showcase live deployments built on the Legacy Connector and HybridX
- Connect with integration partners across DACH and the broader EU market
- Meet existing community members in person
More events across Europe and the Middle East will be announced over the coming weeks as part of our expanded 2026 outreach plan.
5. Network & Infrastructure Health
The main network continues to operate with high stability following the Infrastructure 2.0 milestones. Throughput is trending upward month over month, with no critical incidents in May to date.
- Continued production uptime across core services
- Lower average anchor settlement latency
- Improved validator coordination under load
- Expanded monitoring and observability tooling
6. Ecosystem & Developer Activity
Developer activity around the BaaS Intelligence Engine and HybridX templates is picking up. The simplified node setup flow is reducing onboarding friction for new teams evaluating the stack.
- More pre-configured Besu + HybridX templates available
- Refreshed integration documentation
- New examples covering off-chain to on-chain bridging patterns
- Growing interest from independent builders and university research groups
7. What Is Coming Next
Looking into June and the summer, the focus will be on:
- Scaling Legacy Connector deployments to additional enterprise pilots
- Publishing a dedicated case study series with early adopters
- Expanding validator participation and decentralization metrics
- Confirming additional 2026 conference and roadshow stops
- Releasing improved developer tooling around HybridX proof generation
Closing Note
May confirms a pattern we have been working toward for a long time: the technology is stable, the integration story is resonating, and the right rooms are starting to open up. The next phase is about depth - deeper deployments, deeper partnerships, and deeper presence in the conversations shaping enterprise Web3.
Thank you, as always, for your continued trust and support.
