October Investor Update: AI, Blockchain and Enterprise Trust

edeXa Investor & Community Newsletter - October 2026

Dear investors, partners and community,

AI is making it easier to create. But is it making it harder to trust? This month, our focus is on the connection between those two questions: how businesses can use AI to move faster while retaining independently verifiable evidence of digital integrity.

Our mainnet continues to progress, work on gas-fee efficiency is moving forward, and we are developing practical applications around document authenticity and enterprise verification. We are also sharing a new podcast episode for readers who prefer to listen.

AI and blockchain: partners or rivals?

Artificial intelligence is accelerating workflows, generating content and opening new opportunities. The same capabilities can also make convincing fake documents, deepfakes and digital manipulation easier to produce. For enterprises, innovation must move forward without leaving trust behind.

AI creates and analyzes. Blockchain provides a record that can be checked. AI can automate decisions and help identify suspicious content. Blockchain offers a different capability: tamper-evident records and independently verifiable evidence of digital integrity.

Neither technology is a complete solution on its own. Blockchain cannot guarantee that information was truthful when first registered, and AI detection cannot guarantee that every fake will be identified. Together, they can support a stronger approach to digital trust.

Turning integrity into a practical workflow

At edeXa, we are working to make that combination practical through our blockchain infrastructure and the eTwin Authenticity Proof Engine. The objective is to help businesses register, share and verify digital documents and assets, making unauthorized changes detectable against their registered cryptographic proof.

Technology creates business value only when it can be used reliably, efficiently and without unnecessary complexity. A useful verification workflow must fit the systems people already use, rather than introduce another operational burden.

Mainnet progress and gas-fee efficiency

By October 2026, the network explorer is showing nearly 10 million blocks. This is an infrastructure milestone as we continue developing practical enterprise applications.

We are also applying gas-fee efficiency improvements to make repeated verification and anchoring workflows more practical. The focus is not simply on processing transactions, but on making the underlying infrastructure commercially useful for real business processes.

One network. Two access models.

Enterprises should have a choice. Traditional blockchain interactions can require users to manage wallets, acquire tokens and understand transaction fees. For many business workflows, these are unnecessary barriers to adoption.

  • EDX gas: direct blockchain interaction for developers and users who want native on-chain access.
  • Gasless services: a simplified experience where the service layer handles the underlying transaction costs, without requiring users to personally manage EDX or gas.

Gasless does not mean the underlying transaction has no cost. It means that cost and technical complexity can be managed by the service provider and incorporated into the commercial service model. Both approaches retain the underlying blockchain-backed functionality.

What comes next

Our priorities remain practical use cases where independent verification can deliver measurable value:

  • Document authenticity and data integrity
  • Supply-chain traceability
  • Enterprise integrations that fit existing workflows
  • Efficient verification and anchoring

The opportunity is not to choose between AI and blockchain. It is to understand how their different capabilities can work together to address real business risks.

AI should help businesses move faster. Blockchain-backed proof should help them verify what they trust.

Thank you for your continued support.
