The problem nobody enjoys solving
Almost every organisation has the same quiet risk sitting in its file storage: a signed agreement, a board minute, an audit report - and no independent way to prove, months or years later, that the file in front of you is byte-for-byte the file that was agreed.
Email threads get archived. Folders get reorganised. Versions get overwritten. The document survives; the certainty does not.
What edeXa Verify & Certify now enables
Because the app is listed on the Google Workspace Marketplace, the step that used to require a separate portal happens inside the tools people already use.
The workflow is deliberately boring, which is the point:
1. A file is finalised in Drive or received in Gmail.
2. It is certified - a cryptographic fingerprint of that exact file is anchored to the edeXa mainnet. The document itself never leaves the organisation.
3. Later, anyone holding the file can verify it. If a single byte changed, verification fails.
Why this matters more than it sounds
The proof does not depend on edeXa staying online, on a vendor contract, or on trusting whoever hands you the file. It depends on a public ledger that no single party controls. That is the difference between a service telling you a document is authentic and being able to check it yourself.
For law firms, that is version certainty in a dispute. For finance and compliance teams, that is an audit trail an auditor can validate independently. For an individual, it is a diploma, a rental agreement or an invoice that stays provable.

The app is live and installable today. Pilot and evaluation conversations are ongoing, and we will publish measured results only once they are real and confirmed - not before.
